The performative book launch of BREAD BANTER (printed in Riso by Colorama) a compendium publication for the lecture performances April Gertler did in Ireland in October, centered around the question: Can a cake (bread) define Ireland and what might that cake be?
The launch included fresh soda bread, a video of the lecture performance in Ireland, a workshop on butter making and copies of BREAD BANTER and the patch
MAKE CAKE NOT PROFIT.

Piotr Pietrus was the first artist to exhibit his work in a photographic exhibition titled; Unter dem Pflaster liegt der Strand. 

I've been documenting the city-lead cleanups of these increasingly rare spaces. Just as the saying 'Under the pavement lies the beach' stems from the 1970's anarchist movements (among others), still today, resistance against profit-driven development flares up regularly in many forms on the streets.
